Dear Ms. Appelgate and the Eye-Link Staff,

Thank you very much for purchasing the Trekker Breeze for me. I received it in mid-February on Valentine's weekend. Immediately, I opened the box and took out the CD which has the user guide on it and listened completrely through the material once. Then I went over the instructions for setting up routes, setting up landmarks and working with the Trekker Breeze settings. This way I could prepare some routes and landmarks within the Luverne area in order to be able to use it the week after receiving the unit.

I have used my new Trekker Breeze for travelling to and from the Rock County Aquatic and Fitness Center, for going to and from Glenn's IGA, the town's only grocery store, to and from the Family Dollar Store and I have also used the Trekker Breeze in the motor vehicle setting to travel to the Mary Jane Brown Nursing Home where my aunt is now staying as a permanent resident, as well as to the pamida Store on the south side of Luverne. So you can see that I have already put this wonderful GPS technology to good use in the time I have had it. From the experience I have had thus far, I believe that this tool will continue to be a very useful orientation guide--both for here in Luverne and wherever I travel in places that I am not at all familiar. You truly serve with genuine interest and wise dispatch people at all socioeconomic levels of society.

You and your staff are a tremendous outreach ass to blind and visually impaired people within the state of Minnesota and elsewhere as people want specific types of technology that can be very usefull in their lives, regardless of the status or goals one may have in life. In the cases in which people cannot get the technology they want or need from (the) State Services for the Blind (as was the case in my situation), they now have the unique resourse of the Eye-Link Foundation, working tirelessly to support people as they seek to use their talents and skills to advance their lives.

Thank you once again for your assistance on my behalf and I wish you and your staff the best of everything as you continue to pursue the far-reaching, worthwhile means of advancing the lives of blind and visually impaired individuals--both now and in the months and years to come.

Sincerely yours, David Walle (March 12, 2010)
